12:00 AM

If you’ve been to my journal before, you’ll know that I have a particular fascination. For almost three years, I’ve been experimenting, off and on, with thought forms for information gathering. At present, I use a servitor I called Ivanhoe and granted it specific abilities in the astral realm, including accessing the Akashic Records. Without going into details, I was led to consider using Ivanhoe to help “see” the winning lottery numbers of a particular lotto. I’ve done this before but always ensured that it wasn’t for gain. To accomplish this essential fact, I would send Ivanhoe to view me at a specific point in time and it would be at least a day after the draw. This draw was a bit different due to the amount and the fact that one of my tenants had had a very strange “occurrence” in which a voice inside her head told her she had had a certain amount of money.

OK, this sounds weird so a little explanation is in order. This lady had spent a number of weeks in the hospital and when she returned home, found out that she was doing things that she would have no recollection of later, including going to the bank during one of these “fugue” episodes and wanting to withdraw money. The amount that she was “told” by this voice was almost exactly half of this draw’s value. Adding to the mystery, the draw was for the same amount 3 times in two weeks!! Three times is pretty unusual and the significance was not lost on me.

On July 2, the guy I worked with decided overnight to quit and I found myself working without a break. Last year, I spent over 6 months working every evening, weekend and holiday while my old boss did very little to find somebody to fill the second position. One of the major drawbacks is that I had to put aside most of my leisure time pursuits because I just didn’t have the time for them, including almost all of my online activities. If you note the date of my last entry here, you’ll see it has been a number of weeks since my last post. Anyway, with Ivanhoe essentially in mothballs, because of the huge increase in workload, I was a little surprised to be “guided” to attempt obtaining the winning lotto numbers with this thought form, made essentially of my own astral matter. I say surprised because I had never been urged to use this for gain, either for me or somebody else. My goal is to be able to work with Ivanhoe in finding missing people and have met with a fair amount of success to date, although only as a means to see if it could actually be done. The last apartment building I lived in, there was an acquaintance that assisted me. I’d call him up, give him a specific time and then get together later with him to discuss what Ivanhoe had “seen” and describe where he has been.

On this attempt, Ivanhoe materialized with a minimum of difficulty, although he appeared a bit hazy. My instructions were for him to access the Akashic Records and make note of the numbers that I would be viewing at a specific time and return with them, fifteen minutes later. After opening my chakras and reabsorbing him, it took about 4 minutes for the information to “download” into my conscious mind. This lotto requires 6 numbers and the first series that flashed across my mind’s eye had only 5 numbers…for some reason I couldn’t get a clear picture of the first number in that series. The second series of numbers that I saw had 6 in total and I assumed these to be the correct ones and filled out the slip with them. I did keep the others on the pad I’d written them on, as I usually do...I never know what is going to be significant or when. Yes, I said “assumed”…perhaps a bit of a mistake and perhaps not. From the numbers I chose from the second series, only one was drawn. What shocked me later was that the from the initial numbers that Ivanhoe showed me, 3 of them were drawn. The odds of guessing one number correctly, while not astronomical, are still quite high…the odds of actually seeing 3 of them grows exponentially, as you can imagine.

What is my point here? Firstly, it proved to be a very interesting lesson. As you probably know, remote viewing can be highly effective but has a number of drawbacks. The most prominent of these is the simple fact that it is impossible to see numbers. There are several schools of thought about this but my personal view is that, like dream symbology, the information we receive in the dream state is not cut and dry. I think that the location where this information is stored is in a format that our conscious mind is not fully capable of understanding. Think about it…biting into a white chocolate elephant while dreaming will not mean the same thing as somebody else. To understand our dreams, we need to compile the symbols and how we interpret them, once we’ve experienced them on more than one occasion. And no symbol will mean exactly the same thing to everybody. But this is not about dream interpretation and I am no expert in this field.

As far as ethical considerations in using Ivanhoe, it is imperative to set boundaries. I’m beginning to make some sense of this amazing journey of the last four years. It is incredible the way our guides and inner soul work together to create specific situations that are designed to guide us in a particular direction. The aspect of a young couple losing a child or a family member being killed is horrendous, in that we can all agree. What I’ve come to understand, though, is that these types of circumstances force people in a direction they would not have normally taken. I think back on the horror of September 11 and the huge loss of life and it is heartbreaking but there is another side that we need to see and acknowledge. When many of the planes were diverted to Canada that day, an incredible amount of Canadian families opened their homes to their cousins to the south who were in need. The deep friendships that developed and then were nurtured in the ensuing years would never have transpired without this very tragic event as a catalyst.

When I think about some of the trials sent my way in the last few years, I begin to realize that many lessons are designed to see if I have, in fact, learned the lesson and can apply it. If the truth be known, many of us find ourselves in a repeating loop of encountering the same problem many times before we finally “learn”. This is nothing to be ashamed of, it is simply a fact of life, especially when we embark on a spiritual journey. If you’re reading this, you are already well aware of this, although it may only be on a subconscious level. My guides are particularly crafty….I’ve noted that some difficulties they’ve presented me with on this journey so far have had some common factors but almost always with a few twists thrown in. If nothing else, it sure does keep life interesting, doesn’t it?

ON THE JULY 25, 2007 broadcast of Coast-to-Coast AM with George Noory, he was scheduled to conduct an on-air Ouija board experiment. The show had been hyped for many weeks, and in the space of those previous weeks he had been encouraged by a few to go ahead with the experiment and warned by many more to forego it.

When it came down to the night of the experiment, George backed out. The experiment was all set to go. Rosemary Ellen Guiley brought a vintage Ouija board, seeing the event as an opportunity to “advance people’s thinking about spirit communication.” Bruce Goldberg was also in favor of trying the experiment and even invoked “white light protection” to shield the experimenters from any harm from lower astral entities.

He, too, thought it would be educational for listeners as an example of psychic empowerment.

The dissenting voice came from Jordan Maxwell, and it was a strong one. He told George in no uncertain terms that such an experiment would be a mistake and that it was very dangerous and “extremely foolhardy”, warning there was a possibility of opening a portal that would allow dark entities to come through.

We don’t even know for sure what the experiment was going to be or how it was to be conducted. We don’t know who was going to touch their fingers to the planchette or who was going to ask the questions. We don’t know what the questions might have been. The only clues we have are in George’s revelation that he had had a near-death experience that left him obsessed with the afterlife. His intention with the experiment was to see if he could contact spirits, specifically that of his dead aunt, who could tell him the afterlife is real.

So why did George back out? Because, he told his audience, of strange things that have happened in the previous weeks:

  • People getting into car crashes
  • People getting trapped in the St. Louis Arch (where he lives)
  • His daughter is pregnant and she miscarried during a previous pregnancy
  • An earthquake in Indonesia
  • A previous guest’s mother had died

Cat's "sixth sense" predicting death?
Predicting the death of a patient, even an elderly, demented one, is an inexact science, even for a doctor with decades of medical experience. But a cat in a Providence, R.I., nursing home, an animal shelter refugee named Oscar, seems to have a sixth sense about when residents in the home's advanced dementia unit are about to pass away. And his actions can sometimes help alert the staff to notify family members in time for them to get to the nursing home to tell their loved ones goodbye.

Scientists now know: We're not from here!
Imagine the shock of growing up in a loving family with people you call "Mum" and "Dad" and then, suddenly, learning that you are actually adopted! This same sense of shock came as scientists announced that the Sun, the Moon, our planet and its siblings, were not born into the familiar band of stars known as the Milky Way galaxy, but we actually belong to a strange formation with the unfamiliar name of the Sagittarius Dwarf galaxy!

'Psychic reading' part of investigation targeting murder suspect
Three months after a 40-year-old Toronto-area bookkeeper vanished, she purportedly told a psychic she wanted to warn her killer to move her body so he would not be arrested.

Princess claims clairvoyant powers, aims to share them
Norway's Princess Märtha Louise, daughter of King Harald and Queen Sonja, has emerged as a clairvoyant, and is launching an alternative school aimed at training students to contact angels. Officials at the Royal Palace won’t comment on the princess' latest business venture.

There's a new twist in the Da Vinci Code conspiracy theory hunt, at least as far as the media is concerned. Italian artist Slavisa Pesci is stirring up a new frenzy by questioning whether the geometry obsessed artist hid some heretical images in the Last supper, which are (of course) only visible when the image is mirrored on itself. Odd images include what appear to be a pair of Templar knights, and a female figure holding a baby. As hidden image theories go, this one is possibly worth a look.

If you're looking for some theorizing with a little more meat on it, you may want to check out Moonstonejonz' treatise on our favorite hermetic lady:The Mona Lisa, Freemasonry, and the Sigil of Saturn

Sleipnir

In the Asatru faith, July 26 is the the feast of Sleipnir, the legendary eight-legged horse belonging to Odin, the Father-God of the Norse pantheon. Sleipnir carries Odin between the world of the Gods and the world of matter. The eight legs symbolize the directions of the compass, and Sleipnir's ability to travel through land and air.

In the ancient Egyptian calendar, it also marks the reappearance of Sothis (Sirius), signalling the beginning of the annual Nile floods.

That's it for now. On the job front, I am happy to tell you that my boss came through big time. My job is on-call and is usually restricted to evenings and weekends. My partner quit at the beginning of July so I've been holding down the fort, so to speak, while my boss compiles resumes and arranges for interviews to fill the position. Right now, I am working every day but, as I said, my boss did come through with some additional monetary compensation for the weeks I should be off duty.

In late May, a couple of my tenants had taken in a little beagle puppy named Buster and I fell immediately in love...I'm not kidding. This little guy was so full of life and love it was impossible not to make a connection that was almost spiritual in nature. For varied reasons, they had to tearfully give him up but it was to a good home where he'll be well treated. I was quite sad but but happy at the same time. I had been given an opportunity to share the Light inside me with a small puppy and I am overjoyed at the opportunity. One door closes and another opens...A good friend of mine recently adopted two tiny female kittens and wouldn't you know, I fell in love again...lol. In fact, I have had the pleasure (that is dubious at times, as any cat owner will tell you) of their company for the last week and it has been incredibly refreshing. These little girlies are so full of love and curiosity and I feel exceptionally honoured to be accepted as part of their "family". When they crawl up on my lap, feeling safe and protected, I realize that love can come in so many forms.

That's it for now. Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for coming by.

See you in the ether !

Phwoar, remote viewing-- I've seen stuff on it; it's amazing.
I understand completely your aggravation with the woman commenting on my journal. I was the instigator, though: I went on hers & asked up front "what makes you think we are living in the 'end days'?" So it's been going back & forth. It's frustrating, but I do it to myself. -_-

I have been through that reaped loop and it was when i started taking in a personal inventory and starting believing in myself and follow the trails of my dreams i began seeing and the more i saw and work with what i had i became aware and the journal was a blessing to write as i do forget most time and by writing it takes me on to levels that is requried to fullfill my own spiritual path of remembering and also to ensure I have balance as i continue the journey. Thanks for sharing your experiences for it also assist me and many others that pass by. Everyone indeed do have something that triggers our own essence

Ware, ware: the woman who annoyed you? She finally got tired of going back & forth, & said I was welcome to her journal, still (really? Thanks, but no), & so, to be polite, I extended the same invitation to her as well. Methinks she took it. Mayhps if I can't argue her out of her close-mindedness, I can at least be something of an example. Whether this is for good or ill, time will tell. Just wanted to warn you, just in case... You know.

Ha, I don't have a warrior's spirit, I'm just a bitch. I highly doubt I am an "indigo child," & that I will change things. I am myself somewhat traditional when it comes to certain things.
The links sound interesting, but I can assure you that I have no psychic abilities. I don't "feel" any, & I've taken a few tests that pretty much assure me I have nothing in the way of any sixth sense. I don't really believe art comes from such things, anyway; it's more about just trying to make something & being creative & sometimes using your imagination. The same goes for inspiration; I never feel anything psychic about it, it's just I feel like doing something, so I try to do it (it usually doesn't work out at all). I can assure you, nothing psychic is involved in making it, especially mine.
